As part of the New Sydney Fish Market project, our team was responsible for both interior and exterior lighting. Key responsibilities included coordinating with clients, developing innovative lighting design concepts, conducting detailed lighting calculations, producing technical renders, and generating BIM models using Revit. The project posed several challenges, including managing major stakeholders such as the NSW state government and local council, achieving the desired lighting effects while adhering to Australian Standards, minimizing obtrusive light to safeguard local residents and wildlife, and maintaining strict budget control. Despite these complexities, we successfully delivered a lighting solution that met the client’s expectations and remained within the allocated budget.
