Vision^(Reflection) was an interactive lighting sculpture featured at the 2016 Vivid Sydney lighting festival. The concept was to display a variety of everyday objects in a completely new light, altering how they are typically perceived. The installation’s octagonal shape was inspired by Ba Gua, an ancient Chinese arrangement of eight symbols used to understand the universe and nature. Despite facing challenges such as limited time and resources, as well as extreme coastal weather conditions, the project garnered significant attention. It was reported by five media outlets and was recognized as one of the top nine designs in the 2016 Lighting Sculpture Design Awards.
