This lighting project focused on a public outdoor space connecting residential and retail premises. My responsibilities included client coordination, developing lighting design concepts, performing lighting calculations, and producing technical renders. The project presented several challenges, such as limited lift void lighting, restricted installation points, and the need to balance aesthetic lighting effects with sufficient illumination for pedestrian movement. Additionally, remote coordination with a client based in a different city added complexity. Despite these challenges, the design was accepted by the client, remained within budget, and met all relevant Australian standards and local authority requirements.
